SOLA METEC Digital Tape Measure with Built-In Laser Distance Meter

The SOLA METEC Digital Tape Measure & Laser Distance Meter combines two measuring tools in one compact, professional device. Featuring a 5m digital tape measure and a 20m laser distance meter, the METEC gives you the flexibility to accurately measure everything from short dimensions to larger rooms, walls and hard-to-reach areas.

Designed for construction, interior fit-outs, cabinetry, installation and professional trade applications, the METEC delivers fast, accurate measurements while reducing the need to carry multiple measuring tools.

Two Measuring Methods in One Tool

Switch between the digital tape measure for close-range work and the built-in laser distance meter when you need to measure longer distances.

5m Digital Tape Measure

For shorter measurements, the 5m tape provides real-time digital measurements directly on the illuminated LCD display with accuracy of ±1.5mm.

The digital tape can calculate:

• Length
• Area
• Volume

A permanent tape brake provides greater control and prevents uncontrolled tape retraction, while the measuring reference can be selected from either the front or rear of the device.

Built-In 20m Laser Distance Meter

For larger spaces and difficult-to-reach measurements, simply switch to the integrated 20m laser distance meter.

With accuracy of ±2mm, the laser provides fast and precise measurements without needing to physically extend the tape across the entire distance.

Laser measuring functions include:

• Length measurement
• Continuous measurement
• Minimum/maximum measurement
• Area measurement
• Volume measurement
• Indirect 2-point measurement
• Indirect 3-point measurement

The 2-point and 3-point Pythagoras functions are particularly useful when a distance cannot be measured directly, such as determining heights or measurements across inaccessible areas.

Store Up to 50 Measurements

Keep track of your work without continually writing measurements down. The METEC can store up to 50 measurement results, making it easy to reference previous measurements while working.

Bluetooth Data Transfer

Measurements can also be transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth to the SOLA Measures app on your smartphone.

For professional documentation and digital workflows, measurement data can also be transferred to a PC using the SOLA Data Connector.

Clear Backlit Digital Display

The easy-to-read, multi-line backlit LCD display clearly shows measurement results, even when working in low-light conditions.

Both metric and imperial measurements are supported, including metres, inches, feet and feet/inches, allowing the METEC to adapt to different applications and measuring requirements.

Built for Professional Use

Designed to handle everyday jobsite conditions, the METEC features a robust ergonomic housing with protective rubber coating and an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water.

Automatic switch-off helps conserve battery power when the tool isn't being used.
